For Those About to Read

I just finished this book, and it is absolutely crazy to think that this entire town let a few young girls cause so much trouble. I wonder how they felt when most of them recanted their stories later? This is such a horrible part of history, could you imagine living in that village back then? Anyone could have been accused of witchcraft and sentenced to death. I mean, they kept a four year old girl in prison for months because of it, and it drove her insane. There was definitely some evil influence in Salem but it had nothing to do with witches answering to Satan. I would recommend this book, it's informative and a good read.
