My first book of 2016 and it was a five-star read for me! Off to a good start!

I have heard a lot of good things about Penelope Douglas and now I know why! Misconduct is a standalone contemporary romance with an HEA, but I wish it was a series because I am not ready to give these characters up! The New Orleans atmosphere and engaging storyline really drew me in. When I did have to put this book down for real life, as soon as I continued my reading session, I was instantly hooked again.

Say hello to Tyler Marek, owner of the world's third largest construction company, possible US Senate candidate, and alpha male extraordinaire. I loved Tyler and Easton's first meeting and also the second meeting, and well, let's be honest, every meeting after that. The chemistry between these two was off the charts! I loved Tyler's confidence but there is also an insecurity there that only Easton can see. Or maybe she brings it out in him.
