For Those About to Read

I thought this book started out really good, but the more I think about it, the more I feel like things just didn't go so smoothly as far as the writing goes. There wasn't enough of a "build-up" to make me feel like Adam was someone that Sugar loved or even had a crush on for that matter, except for the way she described him. The incident that happened (the one they are running from), just seemed too easy. I know, though, that this is the first book so maybe there will be more concerning that in the next one. I just felt like things were missing from the story. I really like the cover though.
