Pride and Prejudice - Jane Austen, Anna Quindlen
This is a well-written love story. It's definitely not love at first site, but the more they get to know each other, the harder they fall in love, especially in Elizabeth's case. She is a headstrong character which wasn't very common in those days. I enjoy the classics. My favorite subject in school was history, so I do like reading about times that have been long forgotten. Things were so different then, it's almost like those eras never existed. What would Jane Austen think about the world now? I guess a lot of people think stories like this are boring because it doesn't have any of the technology or material things of todays world in it. But that is the beauty of a book like this.
