For Those About to Read

First of all, I just want to say that I have an incredible amount of respect for our military. Two of my uncles were in Vietnam with numerous other uncles and cousins serving in the armed forces. I support every single soldier whether they have been in combat or not. No matter what their job is, each one of them protects this country. Now on to the book...Lone Survivor is a real eye-opener. it seems so unbelievable, like that stuff only happens in movies. But sometimes we forget just how dangerous these situations are when we are relaxing in the comfort of our homes, not having to worry about someone opening fire or shooting RPG's in the middle of the night while we sleep. The account that Marcus Luttrell gives in this book is terrifying. Here's a real horror story for you. You will not believe what he went through and survived! Not just physically but emotionally as well. I recommend this book to everyone, because we all need to know what a true hero is and Marcus Luttrell is a true American hero.
