Deeper - Robin York
"I love his eyes. I love the way he looks at me, what he sees in me, who we are together."

I won Deeper by Robin York from Random House and I couldn't be more excited! One thing I must say about this book is that it definitely has the right title because the more you read, the deeper you get sucked in. The drama starts right off the bat when Caroline gets a text from her friend about some not-so-wholesome pictures of her on the internet. When we meet West, he's in the middle of a brawl. Caroline and West are from completely different backgrounds. West tries not to fall for her because he seems to know deep down that life at Putnam College isn't going to work out for him. But once Caroline starts to peel away his layers and discovers the real West, he lets himself get caught up in her. This may be just a fictional story, but the terrible thing that Caroline is dealing with is very real. And I hope this will open the eyes of younger readers so something like that doesn't happen to them. I can't wait for the second book! I am so glad it didn't end with a goodbye kiss at the airport! (Oh, and I was actually intrigued by the whole "chicken rocket" thing. I believe that's something I would like to see.)
