Ryan has been hurt and is still working out his issues. Kate is used to looking out for herself and doesn't know how to let people in. When I first started reading this book, something was bugging me about Ryan. I didn't think that someone who was a player could just decide to change for a girl who had only been in his class three times. But the more I read, the more I liked. However, it wasn't until I read his point of view at the end, that I was convinced (although anything can happen in the world of fiction, that's why I like it so much). It's a good book. It wasn't the best New Adult story I have read but it's still worth taking the time to read.
