Review

"The worst type of crying wasn't the kind everyone could see-the wailing on street corners, the tearing at clothes. No, the worst kind happened when your soul wept and no matter what you did, there was no way to comfort it. A section withered and became a scar on the part of your soul that survived. For people like me and Echo, our souls contained more scar tissue than life."
Echo and Noah have both lived through tragedy and are still struggling with it on a daily basis. Echo repressed her memories, and while bits and pieces of the puzzle start to come together, she discovers that Noah is exactly what she needs. This book was funny, and sad, and intense, all at the same time. It kept me wondering what was going to happen next. Noah and Echo are so perfect for each other. I love how they persevere even when they want to (and try to) give up. Strong characters, compelling storyline, and a mixture of emotions is compiled into this book. Recommended!
