Ellie Watt is sticking with the family business, being a con artist extraordinaire. Most of her life is spent on the run, but she decides to head back home and try to go straight. She runs into an unrecognizable Camden McQueen from her high school days. When Ellie gets caught in a sticky situation, she agrees to help Camden, who has some secrets of his own.
I didn't know what to expect with this book. But what I got out of it was a thrilling, intense story with strong, not-so-perfect characters. Once the action kicks in, it doesn't slow down. But the book is nowhere near boring even before then. Ellie's bad girl persona is put to the test when Camden is around. He makes her feel things she doesn't want to admit. I found myself really rooting for her to be able to live a normal life. I can not wait to find out what happens in the next book, but until I get it, I'm going to read the novella that goes along with these books to hold me over.
