For Those About to Read

Although I have known this story my entire life, I had never actually read the original. I had seen numerous adaptations of it on TV and in movies. I was surprised at how short it was. A couple of hours after picking it up, I was finished. Of course, this story is yet another tradition at Christmas. Everyone knows it, everyone likes it, and it teaches us a very good lesson. It's no wonder it's still being read (and watched) 171 years after it was first published. A great read for Christmas!
